27.-15, Crown Solicitor:-1, Other Charges. Legal Expenses .$ 6,139.00
Provision made in Estimates (page 41 sub-head 4) .$ 3,000
A supplementary vote of $6,139 is requested to meet the expenditure
of such sum for proportion of the legal expenses of obtaining the decision of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council In re a Reference under the Judicial Committee Act, 1883, In re Piracy Jure Gentium. (1934).

28.-34, Public Works Extraordinary: Hong Kong. Port Works. Removal of Trocas and Pinnacle Rocks..

The estimated cost of the additional work is $1,230, and a supple- mentary vote for this amount is accordingly requested.

29.-34, Public Works Extraordinary :-Kowloon Buildings. Kow- loon Hospital Additions

Additional work at Kowloon Hospital estimated to cost $9,600 was approved in 1934, vide F.M. 14 Item 92, but as the laying of black mould and turf could not be completed before the dry season set in this work, estimated to cost $4,500, was deferred until this year.
A revote of $4,500 from the unexpended balance on the 1934 vote is therefore requested.

30.-34, Public Works Extraordinary :-Kowloon Buildings. Hung Hom Government Store
$
A sum of $20,000 was approved for an Oil Store at Hung Hom in 1934 and the building was completed in that year. Certain necessary minor items which could not be undertaken last year are estimated to cost $1,200 and a revote of this amount from the Unexpended Balance of $3,291 on the 1934 vote is accordingly requested.

Provision made in Estimates (page 103 sub-head 3)...$ 80,000
$60,000 was approved for preliminary and site formation works in 1934, but owing to unavoidable delay the contract was not signed until this year.
The sum of $80,000 provided in the current year Estimates is fully allocated to meet the cost of material ordered through Crown Agents.
A revote of $60,000, being the unexpended amount voted in 1934, is accordingly requested.

32.-27, B.-Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force :-1, Personal Emoluments. Allowances to Instructors
A sum of $7,640 was approved in 1934 (vide F.M. 5 Item 21) for the removal of Trocas and Pinnacle Rocks. On completion of the work at a cost of $6,815.40 at the end of that year an extensive survey of the harbour bottom was carried out by a diver who found three more rocks some dis- tance away from those previously surveyed and since removed.
